Ukwa East Education Secretary Distributes Radio Sets donated by Abia diasporans to pupils and students

The Education secretary of Ukwa East LGEA, Chief Monday Onukogu, distributed Transistor radio sets and batteries to pupils and students of Ukwa East local government Area, donated by the Abians in Diaspora through the ministry of Education for Radio Classroom Program.


The Transition Committee Chairman, Chief Mrs Stella Igbokwe, ably represented by the Supervisory Councilor for Education, Hon Chuks Ogbonna thanked the Abians in Diaspora and our amiable Education friendly Governor, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD, for distributing the Transistor radio sets and batteries to indigent pupils and students in public Primary and secondary schools in the state, to support the ongoing Radio Classroom Program of the state. She urged the parents to continue to support their children to maximize this golden opportunity provided by Abia State Government.


The occasion was witnessed by the Headteachers, teachers and Principals of Junior secondary schools in the Local Government Area.
