The Special Adviser To The Governor On Diaspora Matters and Ag. Executive Sec/CEO ADCOM on Tuesday 7th December , 2021 Received in audience Leaders of the female students association from Abia State Tertiary institutions (ABSU & ABSCOHMTA) at the Diaspora Office, Umuahia .
Issues of immense importance affecting the female students and girl child at large were thoroughly tabled and discussed in a Q/A session with the leaders . The girl child advocate, Dr Mrs Ngozi Ogbonna-Erondu assured the leadership of the associations that her office is always ready to welcome ideas and suggestions that can help in bringing up the girl child.
She also used the opportunity to advise the Student Leaders to take their studies seriously as that is their primary objective at the university. She however emphasized the need for them to also acquire a skill before going into Politics, as politics itself is not an occupation.
